The public is invited to watch as thousands of trout are stocked in Heritage Park Lake, 159th Street and Pflumm Road, Olathe, at 2:30 p.m., and Shawnee Mission Park Lake, 7900 Renner Road, Shawnee, at 3:45 p.m. on Friday, March 11.

Both lakes will be closed to fishing until 5 a.m. Saturday. For information on fishing permits, call 831-3359.
