Viral Video: Five Band Members Play Guitar at Same Time | News
Sharing a single guitar, the five-member band Walk Off the Earth performed Gotye’s hit song Somebody that I Used to Know, and their YouTube video of their performance has gone viral.
Walk Off the Earth is a Canadian indie band that formed in 2006. According to their website, for the past five years the band has “built a massive following of dedicated fans from around the world through their unique and heartwarming approach to songwriting, filming and constant, open interaction with everyone their music touches.”
The band is best known for their unconventional covers of popular music. Their low-budget videos are often popular on YouTube. Besides their most popular cover song using Gotye’s Somebody That I Used to Know, the band also performed their own cover of the Backin Up Song made famous in Kansas City after a very animated woman described a gas station robbery on live television.
